Q & A With Alyc Keith, our Pre-Owned Manager/Sales Manager.
Q: What makes Lexus of Calgary different from other dealerships in the area?
AK: "Great question! Our VIP experience and service sets us apart from all others. From when you first walk in the front door until you leave, you are treated as guests in our home. I don’t know many dealerships that have a Starbucks inspired complimentary Barista bar, nail salon and a service loaner fleet the size of ours. We hope when you leave our dealership you have been 'wowed'."
Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?
AK: "When I arrive in the morning I walk the pre-owned inventory lot where I walk around each vehicle. I make sure the vehicles are presentable, clean, and organized. I then review my pricing on each vehicle as we make price changes weekly. I then view our website to make sure the photos and descriptions are up to date.
While I am doing this I am also available for appraisals and am here for my sales team if they are working a deal. Lastly I like to go on to our social media accounts and I like to keep ourselves relevant, whether it be making a video on a new vehicle that just arrived, or posting an article from consumer reports. I really love the marketing aspect of the business."
Q: What is your dream car?
AK: "I am going to disappoint everyone here with this one, although I am in the car business, cars don’t really excite me. I have owned an IS300, SC430, IS-F, GS350 AWD and an RX350. They have all been great reliable vehicles. That’s good enough for me."
Q: What do you do in your free time?
AK: "I really appreciate the game of golf. I try and play a game of ball or ice hockey a few times a month and I have enjoyed playing the guitar over the past 30 years. Right now I really enjoy making music with my two young kids."
Q: What should first-time visitors know about Lexus of Calgary?
AK: "It’s one thing buying a vehicle somewhere, but it’s how you are treated after the purchase. I can tell you once you are a member of this family we will bend over backwards for you to help you out, if something arises, in your time of need. My sales team amazes me on a weekly basis."
